Purpose
The purpose of our Youth Ministry is to nuture and develop children who learn at an early age to study the Word of God. Through actvities and classes designed specifically for children, they gain a grasp on biblical principles that they can apply to everyday life.

Fit & Fun

Fit & Fun is a program developed with the help of the SCDHEC to encourage healthy living habits at an early age. This program is an extension of our Body & Soul Health and Wellness program for adults. Through mini seesions during Sunday School, the youth participate in special projects that teach better eating habits and physical activities.
Through children's church and Tuesday night's, the children will be learning how to keep their body's healthy by eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and getting lots of exercise.

Nat'l Fruit & Veggie Month
Why?
Eating fruits and veggies gives your body the natural fuel it needs to function. Eating fruits and veggies can also help reduce risk of obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, and some types of cancer
When?
At least five servings of fruits and veggies is recommended every day.
What?
Bananas
Apples
Oranges
Corn
Broccoli
Strawberries
SNACK IDEAS
Cut up carrots into "french-fries" and dip them in low-fat dressing
Top your morning cereal with some berries or a banana
Skewer grapes, pineapple chunks, and apples to make fruit kabobs
